Rodney Ross has a lifetime of entrepreneurial experience that
began in his teenage years as a bus boy for a regional restaurant chain.
From bus boy to assistant manager before he even graduated
from high school, he tired of proving himself to an owner who
thought he was too young to manage a store.
Additionally, he had no interest in the corporate politics that came with franchises,
so he found a closed restaurant, secured financing, and managed all of
the needed renovation before opening the restaurant in May of
1979… three months before his nineteenth birthday.
Rodney Ross has a lifetime of entrepreneurial experience that

from high school, he tired of proving himself to an owner who
thought he was too young to manage a store. Additionally, he had
no interest in the corporate politics that came with franchises, so he
found a closed restaurant, secured financing, and managed all of
the needed renovation before opening the restaurant in May of
1979… three months before his nineteenth birthday.
He sold the restaurant to pursue his education, and in 1982,
he opened his accounting firm, Ross & Associates, which today
servers over 300 clients in various areas of accounting, tax
planning, and business coaching.
With an ongoing passion for entrepreneurship, Rodney
continue to purchase failing restaurants and turn them from the
brink of bankruptcy to flourishing and profitable businesses. In
addition to restaurants, he purchased a vending company that had
17 accounts generating $200,000 in annual revenue. In two short
years, he grew that business to over 60 accounts and over $800,000
annually.
Rodney also served at CFO/COO for TYAD Media Corp.
to provide sound financial leadership. His first co-authored book,
Why Businesses Stop Growing and What You Can Do about It, was
published in 2014.
His passion continues to be working with entrepreneurs to
enable them to have more freedom while growing successful
businesses.
Rodney believes that none of the many things he’s
accomplished would have been possible without God’s blessing
and favor.
